Hello Lovely, it’s so nice to have you here!

My name is Rachel, the founder of Violet Sky Creative. I’m so excited you’re considering hiring Violet Sky Creative to host your mini makers crafty party.

I am the creative facilitator who will be bringing the crafty vibes to your kiddo’s creative party. I have carefully chosen each craft activity to be engaging, ignite creativity, and foster a love for crafty projects. (Apologies in advance for all the craft supplies you might be begged to buy after a party!)

At Violet Sky Creative it is our mission to deliver hands-on creative parties that cultivate creativity and self expression. We hope that everyone has fun not just at the party itself but leaves with some long lasting memories and a solid belief in their creative potential.

Every child will have the opportunity to explore their creative talents. With enough instruction and support to be successful but with plenty of freedom for creative expression, every child will create something special and unique to them.

About Rachel

I am a scientist by trade but it has been many years since I last donned a lab coat, trading it in for the insanity and euphoria of being Mum to three mini mischief makers.

I have a creative spirit and love nothing more than working on crafty projects, even better when it’s with friends. As long as you never use my fabric shears on paper, we’ll get along just fine! I don’t think there’s a craft I wouldn’t be keen to try and I couldn’t possibly declare a favourite. Though knitting garish baby cardigans is pretty high up my list.

Being creative with my kids is how I play. Being bossed around while playing “schools” or being told off cause I’m not doing a good enough job at lego…No thank you!! Getting out the watercolours, or the air dry clay or drawing some cute kawaii animals? Yes. ABSOLUTELY. 100% my jam! (Though the glitter is strictly reserved for special occasions!). Our dining table is regularly adorned with the remnants of creative projects. We have a passion for crafting in our family and I hope to share the magic of creativity at your party.

The inspiration for starting Violet Sky Creative is my eldest daughter. Her creativity constantly inspires me. She is incredibly fearless in the pursuit of the things that bring her joy and she inspires me to do the same. We only get to live once, right? We should all channel the confidence of our inner eight year old and do more of the things that feel a bit scary!
